Life in the countryside

You may already get the idea from my videos and pictures, I was visiting my best friend Nicky, Jo and their adorable fur babies last week at Forest of Dean. It was the best time for a very long time to keep me smiling even when I was sleeping!
We were lucky enough to stay in the forest at the most magical house with the nicest people you can ever meet. It was the perfect getaway.

Forest of Dean,
What a lovely place! It is a beautiful place to be, there is so much to do in this unspoiled part of England.

An amazing place for long walks for people who love to enjoy the peace of nature and love to explore. Meeting the locals and spending time in the forest made me think about how much we materialise our life and less care about other things matter for basic needs of us humans, all animals and the mother Earth! When you are in the countryside hear the birds singing, if you are quiet enough and have your eyes peeled open you should see wild boars playing, watching the dear jumping around in the forest, squirrel stealing an apple of the trees… It will warm your heart, take you in a peaceful place and fill you up so much that small-time becomes priceless.

There are such nice places we had a chance to visit as Symonds Yat, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and so much more…

When you had the amazing walk at the Wye Gorge while looking for Merlin in the woods, walking down to the river and spending all day in the breathtaking forest then it is time to visit Symonds Yat to have a cold drink of your choice!

I do not know about you but I love cheese, so when we went to Cheddar it was like a dream come true! What better thing to do than to visit a cheese company, every bit of cheese I had was amazingly tasty and had a unique flavour.

Goodrich Castle, where you meet the English Heritage. This lovely castle is in a beautiful area with stunning views of the countryside. A must-visit castle.

Glastonbury, where the magic happens! Town of happiness! Where you can spend the whole day walking around the charming shops, enjoy the best vegan restaurants. If you only have a day to spend, you will not have enough time to see it all!

On our last night’s walk, we met the whole family of wild boars. To be able to watch them was an amazing experience. Sadly, it was time to say goodbye!
In the morning my dear friend Nicky gave me the nicest surprise and she asked Merlin (a very special person where the locals call him Merlin) to come and say goodbye to us! Fantastic Lenny, even spending 10 minutes with him was the best present I can have to finish my amazing break.
I will love to thank all special people who made this week happened for us and locals for looking after the land, history and our friends the wildlife around.

Stay happy and be safe
