Day Trip to France

SECOND SISTER NICKY AND BEST MAN JO

Before all this craziness started my lovely friends surprised me with a day trip to France and getting up at 4 in the morning was a blessing knowing there was a good day ahead!

Eurotunnel Le Shuttle is the car and train service linking Folkestone, England, with Calais, France, via the channel tunnel. The fastest and most popular method of travelling between the UK and France in your car. It took us a couple of hours to drive from Reading, Euro tunnel crossing only takes 35 minutes. I was surprised to find out there is up to 62 crossings per day, so there is no shortage of journeys to go to France from the UK.

We got our coffee and then we were on our way to France. On the way there being in the tunnel, coming out on the other side of the tunnel, to visit another culture and to see different lifestyles always excites me.
Day in France was great, different than been in Paris.

We started with a nice drive around to see the local market and found the best French cheeses, at the local coffee shop tasted famous french pastries and then drove down to the seaside to walk on the beach, we watched people collecting bags and bags of cockles.

MY BEST FRIEND JO

It was a great experience having the day at the market and the beach. To watch others enjoying life put a warm smile on our faces. Coming back from our journey felt longer than it was, perhaps we were tired from adventures day…

A beautiful day spent with the best people to enjoy a break from the rush of our daily busy life.

It was a great experience, would be recommended to anyone. I’m looking to go back and enjoy more in the near future!
