Australian dream

One of the most amazing places to be! Where you can feel and see full of possibilities in everything and everywhere. The best, the most exciting and outstanding country I have ever been.

When we think and talk about Australia what comes to our minds first?  The most dangerous animals and wildlife!

Life and travel in Australia can be safe and easy; especially planning ahead will help you make the most of your holiday. When swimming in Australia, be aware of strong currents and stay between the red and yellow flags, try not swimming to prohibited areas, you know, because of sharks.

Do not poke animals and make sure you don’t put your hand into crocodiles’ mouths, please. They don’t like being poked, as humans don’t like it either. Just be careful, take precautions and listen to what people advise. You are in a safe and extraordinary country, so please enjoy the experience with a full of smile.

I grew up and have always lived in hot countries, but the sun is extremely strong in Australia, so if you are planning to go, make sure you get yourself a sunscreen 50+ at least.

When you go to Australia, it is handy to have a camping experience (even if you are one of those people who doesn’t like camping, just like me) Australia is a huge country and the best way to discover is definitely by road tripping and camping. It gives you all the freedom you want, and you can see as much as possible. You can have wild camping anywhere you like in Australia or you can choose to stay in camping places, which are very comfortable and usually have clean bathrooms. If you don’t want to stay in a tent, most of the camping places have small hotels where you can stay overnight. Make sure to keep your shoes in your tent overnight if you don’t want foxes to steal them. Watching the kangaroos jumping around, opossums to watch you over the tree and wombats -the cutest visitors off the road- are the most enjoyable parts of the camping trip. At least it was for me!

If you are planning to visit Australia make sure you have plenty of time, not just 2 weeks.

It is a country for all seasons. Plan ahead for the season and the area you will be visiting.

The emergency number for the police and ambulance is 000.

Australia has many unique and native animals. Like kangaroos, penguins and -cutest animals of the world- koala bears. You can see them in their natural habitat when you are driving around. Phillip Island, where you can go and see wild penguins at the world-famous Penguin Parade, (It is about 90 minutes from Melbourne)

There is not enough time and pages to talk or write about this most wonderful country in just one day.

Love you and leave you with an Australian dream and hope you enjoy the pictures I shared with you.

Stay safe
