If you love chicken and you like kebabs, this recipe would be one of your favourite for the family dinners, parties and late-night snacks. It is so easy to make and amazingly tasty to eat. Because it is a low-calorie recipe that you can have it any time of the day without feeling guilty
INGREDIENTS
- 5chicken breasts
- 1cup Greek yoghurt
- 4tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tbsp grated garlic
- 1large onion cut into 2halves, to use as a base for of the skewer
- 1 tablespoon chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1tablespoon paprika
- 1teaspoon cumin
- 1teaspoon fine salt
- 1lemon, juice only
- 4large potatoes. peeled and cut into wedges, seasoned with salt and cracked black pepper, mixed with 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions
In a large bowl mix the ingredients except for the chicken. Butterfly the chicken breasts. Add the chicken into the mix and marinate for an hour
Push a skewer into the halved onion, cut side facing downwards. Place in the centre of an oven tray and start building the kebab on the skewer, changing the angle of the chicken as you go
Top with the other half of the onion. Place the potatoes around it
Bake for 1 hour at 180°C.
Slice and serve with baked potato wedges!
